Talk to us about an institution

Every engagement is a one-time build you own outright. Final scope depends on the number of sources, their formats, rights complexity, and whether we gather the material for you.

The optional living-archive plan keeps the record hosted, maintained, and answerable over time. It is priced at onboarding, never required, and the archive remains yours either way.

A few practical questions

Clarity before commitment.

Why can the final scope change?

Bodies of work are wonderfully uneven. A shelf of books is different from hundreds of hours of recordings or a collection with complicated permissions. We begin with the clearest starting price, then write down the scope before any work begins.

Can we begin with one part of the work?

Yes. A focused record can establish a thoughtful home now and grow later. Because you keep the archive, expanding it does not mean starting again from nothing.

Is ongoing maintenance required?

No. The optional living-archive plan is for people who want us to keep adding new work and looking after the site. The finished archive remains yours either way.

Can an institution host the archive?

Yes. We can hand over the portable archive and documentation for an institution to host in its own environment, with technical support included in the engagement when needed.
